Cookie policy

Last updated 21 August 2026

A cookie is a small file a website puts on your device. Some are needed to make a shop work at all. Others watch what you do. We use the first kind by necessity and the second kind only if you say yes.

What we set without asking

These are strictly necessary. Without them the shop does not function, so no consent is required for them and there is no way to refuse them and still buy something.

Purpose Set by Kept for
Keeping your basket between pages Shopify up to 2 weeks
Keeping you signed in to your account Shopify up to 1 year
Completing checkout and payment Shopify up to 3 weeks
Remembering your country and currency choice Shopify up to 1 year
Fraud prevention and security Shopify up to 1 year
Remembering your cookie choice Shopify up to 1 year

What we set only if you agree

These are not necessary. They run only after you accept them in the banner, and never before.

Purpose Set by Kept for
Understanding how the shop is used, in aggregate Shopify analytics up to 2 years

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising purposes.

How we ask

Four commitments, because consent that is engineered is not consent:

  • Nothing non-essential runs until you say yes. If you close the banner, ignore it, or never touch it, no analytics and no advertising cookies are set.
  • Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting. "Reject all" sits next to "Accept all", same size, same prominence, on the first screen. No hunting through a settings panel to say no.
  • Nothing is pre-ticked. Every optional category starts off.
  • Saying no costs you nothing. The whole shop works whether you accept or refuse. We do not use cookie walls and we do not degrade the site to punish a refusal.

Changing your mind

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving — one click, no email, no form. Your choice takes effect immediately and applies from that moment on.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block the strictly necessary ones, the basket and checkout will stop working — that is the trade-off, and it is worth knowing before you do it.

Your rights

Cookies that identify you are personal data. What we hold, why we are allowed to hold it, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted are set out in our privacy policy.
